Greetings Fellow Media Educator and Students!
The Northwest High School Film Festival is the largest and longest running high school film festival in the Puget Sound region. Students receive valuable written feedback from professionals, get beautiful trophies if they win awards, and have a chance to see the best the region has to offer.
Introduction Contest: We are excited to announce the contest for this year's catagory introductions. We need you to produce your best 30 - 60 second introductions to any of our eleven catagories. Turn them into your teacher and then send them off before your school's holiday break. Winners will get a cool film festival t-shirt and be featured at the award ceremony this year. Here is a look at the introductions from 2009.
The 2009 Northwest High School Film Festival, organized by the Media Educator’s Excellence Team (M.E.E.T), had over 250 entries from 23 schools!
This year's festival was a huge success! The theater was packed and the films were great. Here is a list of the awards. A great big thank you to our festival committee, sponsors and Shoreline for hosting this event. Our goal is to make next year even bigger so get out their and start filming!
