About the Film Festival

The NW High School Film Festival is the high school video festival of the Puget Sound region. Last Year 25 area schools participated, and over 200 entries were judged by a panel of 12 film and video professionals. Several of the winning productions went on to take prizes at national festivals. And now, thanks to interest from the middle schools, the festival has been expanded to include a middle school section! Students receive valuable written feedback from professionals, have a chance to get beautiful awards, and to see the best the region has to offer.

The Media Educators Excellence Team (M.E.E.T.) provides an opportunity for media teachers in the area’s schools to gather together, discuss relevant curriculum and support one another as we seek to improve our programs.The committee is a valuable resource for media educators who wish to grow their skills and develop their students through communication with their peers.
