Because of the
COVID19 disruption
to schools, theaters,
and gatherings, the Northwest High School Film Festival has been cancelled this year. We plan to be back and better than ever in 2021. See you then. Stay safe.

If you are part of a high school media program, you can write, film, and edit your own production to enter in March. A panel of judges from the media industry will personally review your film and give you valuable feedback. To see if you are eligible to participate in this private festival, check out our rules page.

The festival takes place at the end of March in Seattle at the historic Cinerama theater. Dress up, buy some chocolate popcorn, grab a program, and watch the winning films projected on a 97-foot screen. Make this a field trip with your media classes! Whether traveling alone or in a group, be sure to contact festival coordinator, Cheryll Hidalgo via email to reserve your seats!

Jury prize winners receive a custom trophy and/or certificates.  Many winners have gone on to gain recognition at prestigious national, and international film festivals.
